Theoretical courses available in e-learning

You have the possibility to learn the theory from home in e-learning before coming. PADI eLearning allows you to easily integrate the theory of diving before you start your training with us, saving you time. Study the principles and terminology of scuba diving at a time and place convenient to you. Work at your own pace, online or offline, on a computer or mobile device. Connect with your instructor when you have a question. Once the theory has been validated, your instructor will go over the essential points with you in person.

Become a diving professional with the PADI Divemaster course

The PADI Dive Master course is your first step towards becoming a certified professional in the fascinating world of scuba diving, through enriching skills development programs and supervised internships.

By taking this Master Dive course, you’ll acquire the skills and experience needed to lead and assist other divers, organize dive trips and work alongside experienced instructors through practical and theoretical exercises.

Prerequisites to join the PADI Divemaster course

To enroll in the Divemaster course, each diver must:
– Be 18 years of age or older
– Be a certified Rescue Diver (or equivalent)
– Have completed CPR and first aid training within the last two years (such as the Emergency First Response course)
– Have logged at least 40 dives
– Meet specific medical requirements

Organization and duration of the PADI Divemaster course

The duration of the course varies according to the diver’s availability, level of experience and personal progress. Training can therefore be spread over several weeks or months.

The course content is divided into three main sections:
1. Theory: deepen your knowledge of physics, physiology, equipment, management of the underwater environment, planning and supervision techniques.
2. Practice in a protected environment: develop your skills in demonstrating techniques, evaluating divers, managing groups and solving problems related to equipment and diving.
3. Open water training: gain hands-on experience in the open water by assisting and supervising dives alongside certified instructors during briefings, debriefings, training sessions and real-life excursions.

Career opportunities after your PADI Divemaster certification

After obtaining the PADI Divemaster certification, you will be qualified to:

The equivalence of the PADI Divemaster course with the FFESSM

PADI Divemaster certification can be recognized as FFESSM level 4 (Plongeur Niveau 4 – PA40) or equivalent, depending on the additional specialties obtained. However, the precise conditions of equivalence may vary according to the specific rules of each federation.

It is therefore advisable to contact the FFESSM directly to obtain up-to-date information on possible equivalences between these courses at the center concerned.
