The coasts of the Presqu’\u00eele de Giens abound with fascinating scuba diving sites<\/a>. Each site offers unique features and breathtaking underwater scenery<\/a>. These include Sec de l’Armoire, Ile de la Fourmigue, Anse au bl\u00e9 and the wrecks of Michel C and Ville de Grasse. Port Cros<\/a>, another must-see destination for scuba diving, also offers an exceptional experience. Description<\/h3>

Le sec de l'Armoire is an exceptional site, extending from a depth of 20 to 50 meters. It consists of a rocky outcrop on a sandy seabed and is home to magnificent underwater flora and fauna. Because of the currents coming from the Toulon roadstead and Escampobarriou at Giens, it's best to dive here in favorable weather.<\/p>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Description<\/h3>

To the east of this isolated islet off the coast of Carqueiranne, an exceptional dive awaits you, thanks to a magnificent south-facing drop-off that descends to a depth of 35 meters. It's important to note that diving is not recommended when there's an easterly wind, and can be quite tricky in the mistral. However, when weather conditions are favorable, La Fourmigue is one of the most beautiful dives in the area.<\/p>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Description<\/h3>

Anse au bl\u00e9 is the perfect spot when the wind blows from the east, as the Pointe de Giens protects it. Its westerly exposure provides magnificent afternoon light. The unique atmosphere guarantees a captivating show. A superb drop-off extends to a depth of around 40 meters. This is a relatively easy dive, recommended for beginners and Level 1 divers.<\/p>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Description<\/h3>

Pointe Escampobariou takes its name from its Proven\u00e7al meaning, which is \"escaped from the drums\". This cape, naturally agitated on a clear day, can become extremely dangerous for navigation in windy conditions. Take a moment to contemplate the posidonia meadows amid the scree, then head south, keeping the cliff on your right and passing two points. There, at a depth of around 18 meters, you'll come across a chimney that you can cross to emerge at a depth of 12 meters.<\/p>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Description<\/h3>

The name refers to the distinctive shape of the rock here. To the west are the Fourmigues, and to the east, the landscape descends to a magnificent drop-off that used to be called Bluebeard because of the gorgonians present in such numbers. It's an ideal site for Level 1 divers, as you can stay at a depth of 20 meters and still have a view all the way to the bottom at -35 meters. Vertical walls require rigorous attention to stabilization.<\/p>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
